JASON A DIGGS
Meet the Instructor
Along with performing with various orchestra in the Mid-Atlantic Region, Mr. Diggs has performed in Denmark, Finland, and Japan. He has also been recorded in studio for the Foreign Landscapes cd by Hauschka, the Rudolphe Kreutzer Concertos 17, 18, and 19 featuring violinist Axel Strauss under the NAXOS Label, and on the grammy nominated album Indigo Road feature Lutanist Ronn McFarlane.

He has participated in the Starling/Delay Symposium at the Juilliard School, and is an active Suzuki violin and viola instructor.

Master of Music
San Francisco Conservatory
Studied viola with Jodi Levitz, chamber music with violist/pianist Paul Hersh and violinist Axel Strauss. Performed as principal and assistant principal of the conservatory orchestra, and performed in the baroque ensemble. Participated in master classes given by Kim Kashkashian, the Juilliard Quartet, and served as principal viola during an orchestral master class given by Sir Simon Rattle.

Artist Diploma - Quartet Studies
Shenandoah University
Studied with Doris Lederer. Performed four complete quartet concerts under the guidance of Doris Lederer and C. Thomas Shaw of the Audubon Quartet, Attended Idyllwild Summer Arts Festival and the Chautauqua Summer Music Festival. Principal violist in the University Orchestra and a member of the Kammermusik Graduate ensemble.
